Monthly Meeting
Jon Kiper, who is running to be the Democratic nominee for Governor, will be speaking this month. Kiper owns Jonny Boston’s International, a popular Newmarket eatery. He is a dad, an author, and a musician. He co-founded the Newmarket Alliance for Substance Abuse Prevention and has been extremely active in Newmarket’s town government. You will have an opportunity hear his vision for New Hampshire and ask questions.
We will also be discussing how the Hampton Dems are organizing for this year’s elections - and how you can help.

Town Deliberative Session
There is little more exciting in this world than a New Hampshire town’s deliberative session. Okay, that might be a slight exaggeration. But it is extremely important.
Big decisions can be made. Remember when Libertarians in Croydon cut that town’s school budget by more than 50%? They did it at the town meeting because responsible people did not attend in sufficient numbers!
Let’s protect our schools, our infrastructure, and town budgets that include first responders.
Presidential Primary
We are not yet sure the hours the polls will be open or the location of voting. As soon as the town website is updated with these details, we will share them here.
Mark your calendars to cast your vote. There are multiple candidates on the ballot and a write-in effort for Joseph R. Biden.

$10 and $20 Gift Cards: Food for Thought
The holidays can be a happy time – or they can highlight real struggles. One way we can help is by ensuring that food-insecure families in Hampton do not have to ration food.
During the holidays when kids are further from vital school lunch programs, Food for Thought is critical. Food for Thought provides struggling families with Thanksgiving staples, fresh food, and gift cards. The latter is where the you can help.
If you are able, please consider donating $10 and/or $20 Hannaford and Market Basket gift cards to supplement this holiday nutrition program.
If you can help, please deliver your gift cards to our monthly meeting at 6:30 pm on Tuesday, November 7.
In the event you are out of town, and would still like to help local families, then please mail your gift cards before November 10 to: Hampton Town Democratic Committee, PO Box 1107, Hampton, NH 03843.
